Tiki Disco is tomorrow, Synthicide hits Good Room on Saturday with Veronica Vasicka and Andi, and Honey Dijon is doing daytime at The Ruins both Saturday and Sunday. This is one of the better weeks of the summer — Thursday through Sunday all has something.

Tiki Disco is the outdoor party Jamie consistently says is his favorite daytime format. Eli Escobar (Lot Radio regular, Gabriela resident, NYC house/disco lifer) holds the resident slot alongside Lloyd and Andy Pry Ortega. The format: outdoor at Knockdown Center (not the main room — the terrace), mixed crowd, unpretentious, no-frills. If you’re only going to one thing Thursday, this is it. Check their Instagram for set times and RSVP.
Later that same night: Gabriela is running a Romance night with Eli Escobar + Natasha, free before 10PM. Viable stack if you want to keep going.

Nowadays: Kilopatrah Jones b2b Kush Jones + shekdash + Zack Fox · 10PM
Kilopatrah Jones — born-and-raised NYC, Nowadays resident, first residency night of 2026 — brings Kush Jones for a b2b set. Kush Jones = Bronx-origin, footwork/club/left-field club music, collaborated extensively with DJ Swisha, Respectfully EP 2023. The third slot is shekdash + comedian-DJ Zack Fox — wildcard for sure, but Nowadays keeps the room focused. This is the NYC underground left-field club end of the spectrum: footwork, grime, drill, off-center. Tickets on RA.
🆗 Also Friday: Soul Clap ALL NIGHT · Good Room
Soul Clap (Charles Levine + Philipe Lenz) — Boston, Wolf + Lamb, eclectic deep house / cosmic disco, 111K Spotify listeners. All-nighter format at Good Room is ideal for their sound. If the Nowadays bill feels too experimental, this is the reliable alternative. Check Good Room for tickets.
🏆 Saturday July 11
Synthicide: Veronica Vasicka + Three of Hearts (Rok One, Andi, Danny White) · Good Room · 10PM
The bill of the week. Veronica Vasicka — NYC, Minimal Wave label founder (2005), the imprint that brought cold wave / 80s synth / industrial-leaning electronic music back into club culture. A decade of Minimal Wave releases means her sets pull from a deep archive of obscure European post-punk, Italo, and dark disco — historically informed, dancefloor-functional. Andi (Gabriela Saturday resident, Synthicide founder, Lot Radio regular) runs the night; her Gabriela sets are on SoundCloud if you want a preview. Three of Hearts (Rok One, Andi, Danny White) rounds out the night. Synthicide is 12+ years running — Andi’s kept the Italo/dark-disco/electro thing alive without ever making it retro kitsch. This is the pick of the weekend.

GINA (Philadelphia underground, Magic City-adjacent, 10+ years in the scene) playing a 90s house / UKG / trance all-nighter at Gabriela. Trusted booking in the right room. If Synthicide’s dark Italo vibe isn’t calling, GINA at Gabriela is the move.
🌞 Daytime Saturday: Honey Dijon in The Ruins · Knockdown Center · 3PM–10PM
Honey Dijon — Chicago origin, queer, internationally touring, plays everything from Basement Jaxx edits to classic disco to tough house. With Tedd Patterson (NYC house legend). The Ruins is the outdoor section at Knockdown Center — the right room. Daytime from 3PM means it fits any schedule. 🎟️ Saturday is reportedly waitlisted or selling out — check Dice and get on the waitlist. Sunday may have better availability.

Eamon Harkin (Nowadays co-founder, Mister Saturday Night) + Justin Carter (Honey Soundsystem, San Francisco) running the weekly outdoor summer series. Outside, Nowadays, 3–9PM. Exactly the format. Show up at 3 with sunscreen.
DJ Sprinkles + Frank & Tony · Public Records Nursery · 3PM
Undercard of the week. DJ Sprinkles = Terre Thaemlitz, NYC-based trans artist, Midtown 120 Blues (2009) is a landmark deep house album, Comatonse Recordings, not a constant live presence. Rare booking. Frank & Tony = L.I.E.S.-adjacent, NYC. PR Nursery (outdoor) from 3PM. If you want something more underground-house and music-focused on Sunday, this is it.

My verdict
Thursday: Tiki Disco at Knockdown. Stack with Gabriela if you have the energy.
Friday: Soul Clap at Good Room is the cleaner pick for late-night dancing. Nowadays is worth it if you want the left-field NYC club-music end of things.
Saturday: Synthicide at Good Room, no debate. Hit Honey Dijon at The Ruins from 3PM first if you can get a ticket — the afternoon-to-night stack is there.
Sunday: Mister Sunday at Nowadays from 3PM. DJ Sprinkles at PR Nursery is a legitimate second event if you want to make a day of it. If you missed Honey Dijon Saturday, Sunday at The Ruins still has tickets.
