• Justin Strauss (all night), Rissa Garcia, Ruez at Good Room — Justin Strauss cut his teeth at the Mudd Club, has 200+ records to his name, and specializes in disco/Italo/new wave/NY garage house — Good Room’s loft-style main room is historically his best fit in the city.
• Crash Course feat. Swami Sound, Qemist, Syd at Bossa Nova Civic Club — Swami Sound is a genuine NYC UK garage standout (Beatport called him “NYC’s garage champion”), with Qemist and Syd rounding out a bass-and-breaks night. Right in the post-jungle/UKG lane the taste profile loves.

MUSCLECARS All-Night Long at H0L0 (presented by ReSolute)

MUSCLECARS is Brandon Weems and Craig Handfield, the duo behind Coloring Lessons — soulful house and disco, classic vocal house energy, no gimmicks. H0L0 has the best low-end in the city; a full-night residency-style set from a trust-list act is exactly the move.

• Nonstop: Analog Soul, Chee Shimizu, John Talabot, Kim Anh, O.BEE at Nowadays (Sat 10pm straight through Sun 3pm) — Analog Soul hosts their own Lot Radio show (direct positive signal), and John Talabot is Hivern Discs’ founder, a low-key balearic/deep-house institution. • Mark Ernestus w/ UMFANG, DJ Python, No Sir, Carl Luis at Public Records (Fri Sep 25) 🎟️ — Mark Ernestus co-founded Basic Channel and Rhythm & Sound, foundational to dub techno; UMFANG co-founded Discwoman. A rare, high-pedigree booking — the pick of the three weekends out.

Saturday: commit to the Nowadays Nonstop if you want to build straight into Sunday, or grab MUSCLECARS at H0L0 for the tighter, harder-hitting night. Sunday: buy Theo Parrish tickets now — it’s the rarest booking of the month — but don’t feel bad if Tiki Disco wins out instead, because it always does for a reason.
