Apocalypse EWS Discord bot

Cut-paper collage of the yellow Apocalypse EWS radiation symbol and cartoon bombs on torn paper.

A Discord bot for Kyle McDonald’s Apocalypse Early Warning System. It checks the upstream every 30 minutes and announces each alert-level change, up or down, plus level-5 RSS incidents. Most days the level stays at 1 and you hear nothing.

Add to a server, then run /subscribe in the channel you want alerts in.
Add to your account, then DM the bot subscribe for personal alerts.

Use /status, /help, or /unsubscribe. Direct @mentions work too. The server invite requests View Channels and Send Messages, not Administrator. No privileged Message Content access is requested.

The bot is verified by Discord and can join more than 100 servers. The underlying aircraft-activity signal is not an official emergency warning service.

Commands, DMs, and direct @mentions are logged for troubleshooting. Unsubscribing stops notifications but does not erase past records. See the privacy policy and terms.
