The event
A bunch of us at Mingus Union High School in Cottonwood, Arizona decided to throw an electronic music event. DJs spinning and live performances in the school cafeteria, 8pm-12pm. $2 at the door. “BODYMOVINGINTENSITYPOWEREDDISCOTHEQUE.”
This was small-town Arizona in 2001. We were doing our best.
